Key things customers should know
To ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience with Finlay Luxe Detailing, please take note of the following important points:
- Bookings are by Appointment Only: All services must be booked in advance. Walk-ins or same-day requests aren’t guaranteed.
- Vehicle Condition Affects Time & Cost: Excessively dirty vehicles may require extra time or incur additional charges. We’ll discuss this with you first.
- Access & Parking Must Be Suitable (For Mobile Service): Ensure sufficient space, power, and water access for mobile detailing.
- Cancellations or Rescheduling: Give at least 48 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a £20 fee (or 50% for larger bookings).
- Weather Conditions: Severe weather may force rescheduling for mobile bookings.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due on the day of service, unless a plan is in place. We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments.
- What We Don’t Cover: We do not guarantee 100% removal of all stains, scratches, or odours, or repair of damaged trims.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: Let us know within 24 hours if something’s not right, and we’ll make it right.
Service guidelines
To ensure quality and respect for all parties involved, please adhere to the following guidelines when using Finlay Luxe Detailing's services:
- All appointments must be pre-booked. Book via our website, Instagram DM, or contact Taylor on 07704429541.
- Ensure your vehicle is accessible at the agreed time. For mobile appointments, we need a safe place to work around the car, and access to electricity and water may be required. Remove personal items before we arrive.
- Payment is due on the day of service unless you’re on a monthly plan. We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments. Monthly subscribers pay in advance.
- Give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged £20 or 50% of the booking value.
- In poor weather, we may reschedule for your car’s protection. We’ll notify you ASAP.
- We cannot guarantee 100% removal of heavy stains, bad odours, scratches, or deep marks. Specialist services must be booked separately.
- We treat every customer and vehicle with care and respect — we expect the same in return. Please inform us within 24 hours if you are unhappy with any aspect of our service.
- We reserve the right to decline service if the vehicle is unsafe, parking is unsuitable, or the customer is disrespectful.
Cancellation and rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. Here’s how we handle cancellations and rescheduling:
- Notice Required: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Late Cancellations / No-Shows: Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a £20 fee or 50% of the booking cost. No-shows may require upfront payment for future bookings.
- Monthly Plan Clients: Missed monthly plan appointments without notice may be forfeited.
- Weather & Unexpected Issues (Mobile Appointments): We'll reschedule due to severe weather at no charge.
